Kent-based drinks group launches cocktail cases so you can master the art of mixology at home
Hands up who likes a cocktail? While wine is always my go-to drink, when I go out for dinner, I like to treat myself to a French 75 to kick start the evening.
While we might not be able to get out and about to enjoy a cocktail mixed by the professionals, Chapel Down in Kent has come to the rescue with its cocktail cases so you can enjoy a truly British signature serve from the comfort of your own home.
Available exclusively from the Chapel Down website, the cocktail cases come in four varieties all celebrating the Tenterden drink-maker’s Kent heritage and include an English twist on my favourite.
English 75
This English winemaker’s twist on the classic French 75 includes one bottle of Chapel Down Classic Brut NV and one bottle of Chapel Down Bacchus Gin. Price £50.
Garden of England
A variation on an ‘English Garden’ cocktail, this case includes one bottle of Chapel Down Bacchus Gin and two bottles of Curious Apple cider along with a cocktail card with the recipe. Price £34
A Taste of Kent
A punchy cocktail epitomising the flavours of Kent includes one bottle of Chapel Down Chardonnay Vodka and two bottles of Curious Apple Cider. Price £32
Tenterden Blush
A delicious cocktail epitomising the flavours of Tenterden, this includes one bottle of Chapel Down Pinot Noir Gin and one bottle of Chapel Down Classic Brut NV. Price £50
As well as bottles of the tipples required to make the cocktails, each case comes with a cocktail recipe card so you can master being your own mixologist and create some truly exquisite flavours from the Southern Quarter.
