Make the most of the British summer by booking a picnic spot at this Kent vineyard
The weather is hotting and up and from 4th July, we’ll be able to gather with more people so grab your picnic blanket and head out into the countryside.
To celebrate arrival of summer, Squerrey’s Estate in Westerham has organised four specific picnic areas among its Rosé Vineyard for visitors to enjoy.
Set at the foot of the North Downs, the vineyard is buzzing with nature and each of the picnic pitches – suitable to fit up to six people – has its own individual charm.

The ‘Bottles’ and ‘Stream’ areas are at the eastern edge of the vineyard and suited to families with older children (no under 10s), while the ‘Vines’ are is in touching distance of the vines and can be booked by families with younger children. A Squerryes members only area is also situated right next to the terrace.
There are 15 picnic pitches in total across the four areas, each available to book for 2.5-hour slots from Wednesday to Sunday. Each pitch will be sanitised and cleared between bookings.
Squerryes has a selection of picnic boxes for you to purchase, including vegetarian picnic box options, as well as their award-winning sparkling Rosé, Brut and Blanc de Blancs so all you need to bring is a blanket and sunscreen and you’re set!
