Surrey company Sea Change is turning the tide on plastic pollution with its innovative wine collection
Eco-conscious wine brand Sea Change, which is based in Leatherhead, Surrey, has launched its first premium wine, a refreshing, crisp and light rosé from awarding-winning Chateau Pigoudet in the heart of Southern France.
With each sip of this delightful rosé you will not only be transported to warm summer nights in the beautiful Provence region but you will also be helping to turn the tide on plastic pollution because with every sale of the wine, a donation is made to marine conservation charities.
Graced with the seahorse known as the ‘jewel of the sea’ on the eco-friendly label, Sea Change Provence Rosé is fresh, perfectly balanced rosé with delicate hints of grapefruit, white peach and tropical pineapple, perfect for serving alongside fresh seafood dishes.
Packaging of the wine has been minimised with the unnecessary plastic wrap covering the closure removed and the label is made from a new, environmentally friendly material made solely from plant cellulose, which is fully biodegradable and compostable.
The Provence Rosé joins a line-up of carefully selected French and Italian wines in the Sea Change range. Each wine features a different sea animal label, hand-drawn with plastic hidden inside them to help illustrate the on-going dangers of plastic pollution.
The Sea Change Provence Rosé is £15.99 from seachangewine.com.
