The Sussex winery and Surrey hotel have joined forces for a sensational summer of poolside fun
If the last few weeks are anything to go by, we’re in for a hot British summer – which is good news for English vineyards. Could their 2020 vintage rival that of 2018? We shall see.
In the meantime, you can make the most of the sunshine in the South East of England – without worrying about the crowds on the coast – by booking a spot by the pool at Great Fosters.
The luxury hotel in Egham, Surrey, opened its heated outdoor pool this week for the summer season and this year it has collaborated with Sussex vineyard, Nyetimber, to offer guests extra touches of quintessential English luxury.
The Nyetimber Pool experience features butler-style service from a poolside menu including fresh sushi and of course, plenty of Nyetimber.
Each guest will be reserved a socially distanced sun lounger by the 1920s heated outdoor pool from 10am till 5pm, with towels, robes and slippers provided as well as one of Alexander Hotels turquoise tote bags filled with a L’Occitane kit of poolside essentials to keep.
Lunch and a glass of Nyetimber is included in the price and guests are also able to wander the grounds estate’s grounds and take in the David Harber sculpture exhibition.
If you want to pamper yourself even more then you can upgrade your day package to have a 55-minute massage in one of the treatments rooms in the main house.
The Nyetimber Pool experiences start from £99. For more information visit: www.alexanderhotels.co.uk/great-fosters
