Nyetimber’s much-loved Dorset Seafood Festival will return to Weymouth’s shores on September 11th and 12th 2021
As far as we’re concerned there is no better combination than English sparkling wine with fish and chips. The acidity perfectly cuts through the fried batter, while a lightly floral palate is delicate enough to complement the soft white fish underneath – a real match made in heaven.

It’s a combination that will be made the most of down on the Weymouth coast this September, where there will be fish, English fizz and festivities in abundance at the Nyetimber Dorset Seafood Festival.
Sussex vineyard, Nyetimber, has joined forces to bring the much-loved harbour-side festival alive once again but this year it will be from a new, larger site – Weymouth peninsula, behind the Pavilion Theatre, to allow for better social distancing.

One of the largest seafood festivals in the UK, the festival will give visitors the chance to see national chefs and local seafood heroes on the demonstration stage, learn about under-utilised species and enjoy live music and fabulous street food all while sipping on a glass of Nyetimber.
If you’re heading west for a late summer staycation this year, then it’s definitely one to book. To ensure the safety of festival-goers, entry will be by ticket only. Tickets are limited, start at £10 and are available from dorsetseafood.co.uk.
