The vineyard, near Chichester, will open a new restaurant concept at its tasting room this April
West Sussex vineyard, Tinwood Estate, has announced the opening of a new onsite restaurant this spring.
Serving lunch every day and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, the 50-cover restaurant will sit in the existing tasting room, which boasts a vast south-facing terrace with a picturesque view over the vines.
Serving modern British tapas, using local seasonal produce including fish, meat and vegetables, the restaurant, which I due to open on April 3, will have a continually changing menu that will evolve according to what’s in season. Previously the vineyard’s food offering had been limited to afternoon teas and cheeseboards.
Diners can enjoy their food in the restaurant whilst having a tutored wine tasting or at their own leisure and picnic baskets will be supplied for those who would rather find a private spot amongst the vines to enjoy their food alongside a glass of Sussex sparkling wine.
