New lodges open at Tinwood Estate in West Sussex

The vineyard, near Goodwood, is set to open five more lodges at the estate this summer

Tinwood Estate is building five more lodges at its Halnaker vineyard, on the outskirts of Chichester, bringing its luxury vineyard accommodation offering to eight. The new lodges will have the same design and layout as the existing ones, and will be positioned amongst the vines for a fully immersed vineyard experience.

The existing three lodges at Tinwood Estate have proved immensely popular, and are always fully booked across the peak summer months. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic retreat in the Sussex countryside, the lodges feature jacuzzi baths, an communal barrel sauna and private decked terraces, where guests can sip wine while watching the sun set over the vineyard.

Last year, Tinwood opened its new restaurant concept, offering high-quality, deliciously seasonal dishes and the promise of a delightful summer’s day out. The Vineyard Kitchen, which seats 50 people serves lunch every day and dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings, with picnic baskets supplied for those days when the weather is

Located just over an hour from London and right next door to the world-renowned Goodwood Estate, the new lodges provide the perfect opportunity for a weekend English wine break away from the city. Nearby vineyards include Ashling Park, Upperton Vineyards and Roebuck Estates, which sit on The Great Sussex Wine Route and can be explored by car or by using the free bikes available for guests at Tinwood.
